<p>Description:                  Irish Family Fun Day gives area students and families a chance to learn more about and celebrate Irish culture. Children will learn Irish arts and crafts, Gaelic sports, traditional music, step dancing, and the Irish language. There will also be story-telling and films. During an ice-cream and cookies social, children will share what they have learned.</p>

<p>Dear Brother and Sister Hibernians,</p>
<p>On behalf of our entire convention committee, we wish you and your family the best of health, luck and happiness in 2009. This year also brings the New York State AOH and LAOH conventions and our committee has been working diligently to ensure an enjoyable and successful convention.</p>
<p>The 2009 convention begins with our Opening Mass at Historic Saint Mary’s Church on Wednesday, July 8th and concludes with our Installation Banquet on Saturday, July 11th.</p>
<p>We are pleased to partner with the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Albany again for the very affordable rate of $124 per night plus tax , (hospitality suites are $144 per night, available through Liam McNabb) and we are confident that you and your guests will enjoy the sites, events and scenery that downtown has to offer. Rates include FREE hotel parking.</p>
<p>Attached are Convention Registration Forms and Souvenir Journal forms. Please note the early date of 6/19/09 for ordering the full package &#8211; and late date of 6/30/09 for individual event tickets. We strongly encourage you to register and order your tickets as early as possible as this will assist our committee in the planning of each event.</p>
